Job Title: Video Editor

Job Overview:

Shiloh & Bros is looking for a skilled and dedicated Video Editor. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging family oriented content for youtube and enjoys the youtube culture and gaming culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing videos that have a narrative style and a sitcom format. If you have a strong grasp of storytelling and experience in editing youtube videos, we are looking for you.

Responsibilities:

Work with the lead show editor to edit videos in the established show style
Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all content meets quality standards
Edit and enhance footage to tell a compelling story
Add sound effects, music, and visual effects as needed
Color correct footage to ensure consistency and quality
Manage and organize project files and assets
Ensure that all content is delivered on time and to the highest standards
Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and techniques

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field is a plus
2+ years of experience in video editing
Strong understanding of storytelling and narrative style editing
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and visual effects
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with social media content creation, especially youtube
